TAKTAL is a design and visual arts label.  We initiate facilitate and promote creative projects. We like to collaborate with artists, designers and architects to curate unique events and exhibitions .

TAKTAL was founded by Rob Morrison and Brian Macken, who met while studying Architecture at the Glasogw School of Art.  Rob and Brian are currently based in Glasgow and London respectively.

Rob Morrison
Rob is a events promoter based in Glasgow. After completing his course he started to organise and promote a variety of events and exhibitions in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Tokyo. He is currently the Entertainment Convener of the Glasgow School of Art.

Brian Macken
Brian is a designer based in London. Brian graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies from Dublin City University prior to studying Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art.  He was awarded the RIBA Presidents Bronze Medal for his Part 1 Project ‘Kelvin Archive’. He continued his studies at Bartlett School of Architecture graduating with a Masters in Architecture in 2009. Brian currently works for Foster + Partners, London.
